about

An annual tradition. This is just the leftovers and unreleased crap from Rudy's 1995-1997 recording sessions. It's literally the crap so crappy that it didn't make it onto previous collections of unreleased crap: 1995's (Rare) Rare White Squirrel: "Songs That Suck Pretty Bad" and 1996's Rudy Charisma: "Revisionist Torture Theories". The "Solipsistic Joy" demos had potential, but hey, whatever. It's over. Nappy Solo helped on 7, 8, 12, 20, as usual. I think Morgan the Lotus played guitar on track 1, which isn't so crappy, and is just a take that was never released. Cover photo by Jackie P. Originally released by Mossvelvet Recordings, 1997.

They recorded as The Belts, then morphed into Rare White Squirrel. After moving to Saint Louis, Missouri he went solo, but by 1997 his output had dwindled to nothing. He has recorded just a handful of songs since then. ... more
