got to nebraska and took a right

i asked almighty bob
if he would please give me a sign
he said alright

when the message hit me
i was filled with joy and glee
dogs are kinda stupid
it's cats who are for me
so a ran on home to give my kitty a hug
but she was in the corner
making poopy on the rug

and i just kinda smiled, i said
hey kittycat, come over here and play
she just kinda meowed
flicked her tail, and slowly walked away

and i thought about my dog
he was a good dog, but he died
